This is one of the first images that I made with a self-developed imprint technique. For this I make a cast of a body part in plaster which I then use to make an  (3d) imprint in the clay. With this image I tried to leave an imprint in the clay of the the original as precisely as possible. It turned out to be a sympathetic portrait in which my near future seems tangible.

Looking back on it, this sculpture is dear to me because, in addition to pioneering in a new style, it also marked the beginning of the relationship with my wife Mirja.
